Another computer that has not been sync'ed with the main database for about 2 weeks does not have this problem.įinally I need to note the following: I have sync'ed my Business Contacts to my normal Outlook Contacts. This problem (complete notes field not indexed and user-defined fields not indexed) occurs on all 4 computers on our company network. User-defined fields are also not included in the index anymore and are not searchable. Previously this did work. This problem occurs in Business Contacts, Accounts and Opportunityes,Īnd it is a new problem - is the index now only indexing the first couple of characters of the notes fields? Within approximately the first page of text in the Notes Field, it will be found, but if it appears after what seems like a pre-determined number of characters, it is not found anymore. I have tried this out: If the keyword appears In the last couple of days a new problem has occurred: The search functionality does not find keywords in the Notes Field under Comments if the keyword appears far down a long text passage in the Notes Field.
